Fen Osler Hampson is Professor and Director of the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He serves as senior consultant to the United States Institute of Peace, as board member to the Lester B. Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, Social Sciences Foundation at the University of Denver, as senior editor of the Conflict Management and Security Studies, Routledge Publishers. Fen Osler Hampsom authored or co-authored eight books, and edited twenty-three.
